My Pledge To Myself

The more I counted, the more I felt the shivers for all the many illicit sex I had had. Curiosity and giving in to my bodily needs for sex had seen me start to experiment with sex at age fourteen. By the time I was done with junior high school, I could very well qualify for a really sexually active teenage boy.

The Love Of My Wife

As much as possible, life had been a warm journey for me. Growing up in the suburbs of one of Accra's average neighborhoods, life had been fun and happy.

My parents tried all they could to provide a comfortable life for my siblings and I. For this, we are very grateful. I completed the university at age 22 and was done with my National service in a year's time.

Open Letter To Newscasters

Dear Newscasters in Ghana, and particularly those who present the news in the local languages, and particularly again, in the Akan language, we would like to applaud you for the various ways in which you disseminate information to the understanding of many Ghanaians. You have helped in bringing relevant news to the understanding of many people.

Close Shave

It was a whole three months that my once happy and sexually active life with my wife went into comatose. My wife had been worried sick over this attitude but I could also not bring myself to tell her what I had done and what I was afraid of. I had been cheating on my wife every now and then even though our sex life has been relatively active and fun. Somehow I just fancied all these other women constantly and I would usually find myself wanting to, and actually having affairs with them.

I Miss My Sister!

My sister has been dead for some years now. I was twelve years old when my big sister, who was eight years older than me died. The circumstances surrounding her death is, well, mean to say the least.

I am currently filled with guilt anytime I remember my sister. I have been tormented for so long because I was forced to do something which I did not understand then.

ORDER

Back in Senior High School at Labone Secondary School, I studied Visual Art and did General Knowledge in Art as part of my elective subjects. Under this elective subject, one topic I loved a lot was on Art Appreciation where we were taught to pay attention to the elements and principles in design and be able to either appreciate or criticize it constructively.

Good Women

Women are never good enough!!! Well, that is according to men, generally. :-)

We all know there are women who change after marriage. We know of those who dont respect their husbands. We know some who immediately disappear and seek divorce should their husband's financial level drops for whichever reason. We do known of those who never cook and never manage their homes.

Just By Grace

The following are actual situations of some people. No names are mentioned though and it is meant to make you realize that indeed, life is undulating. And it is all by grace.

Once there lived a young man, overly sheltered by his rich parents. They gave him all he ever wanted and more. In the business others did for money and livelihood, he did for fun. He had some people around him. They were not from homes as good enough as his and indeed they were struggling.

Y'ede Awhrehuo - We Are Mourning

The death of the President Mills of Ghana on July 24th 2012 gave birth to a level of creativity that I am yet to see a good enough competition for.

That same day was when the Musicians Union of Ghana was launching their website at the African Regent Hotel. Mid way into the launch, the news broke of the President's death. As part of his closing remarks, the emcee, Kwame Sayiamah announced that the President had passed.
